Pier Sixty-Six invites dedicated, energetic, and polished hospitality enthusiasts eager for growth and stardom to join our team and enjoy highly competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that honors and respects you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned <strong> Safety & Security Supervisor</strong> to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Director of Security, you will manage and provide the highest degree of professional and courteous service ensuring the safety and security of all guests, members, associates, and visitors, while overseeing the assets of the resort. The Security Supervisor will ensure that all security officers are performing at an elevated level and will coach and counsel them as needed. He/she will continuously evaluate policies and procedures to ensure the best interest of the resort is being met.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct pre-shift briefings.</li>\n <li>Delegate duties and ensure proper compliance.</li>\n <li>Select alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.</li>\n <li>Interact with management and officers in a professional manner, making constructive suggestions.</li>\n <li>Interact with local authorities and inform them effectively of all needs and answer pertinent questions confidently and accurately.</li>\n <li>Always comply with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operation.</li>\n <li>Adhere to office policies set forth by security management.</li>\n <li>Assist all other areas of the resort as needed if the immediate and superseding security function is not compromised.</li>\n <li>Maintain continual surveillance of resort areas, bordering property, and CCTV systems.</li>\n <li>Complete security activity logs, documenting all activity during shift.</li>\n <li>Respond to all incidents in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Ensure all incident reports are completed accurately.</li>\n <li>Defuse any incidents of threats or violence within the resort.</li>\n <li>Check all packages and purses of associates exiting via the staff entrance/exit or entering the parking areas.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of all suspicious persons and escort them off the property if warranted. Check and record identification of suspicious persons.</li>\n <li>Conduct rounds throughout the resort, paying attention to unsecure areas. All discrepancies must be documented.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the resort's computerized locking system.</li>\n <li>Receive and process all lost and found items as per procedures established.</li>\n <li>Train new hires on company/department policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to handle a multitude of tasks in an ever-changing environment.</li>\n <li>Analyze information from several sources and make rapid accurate decisions based on the information gathered.</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, SALTO is a plus.</li>\n <li>At least 1 year of progressive experience in a luxury resort or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Able to communicate in the English language.
