    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Abacus Technology is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to ensure the operation, security and integrity of information systems including WAN/LAN and personal for the Headquarters – Air Combat Command (ACC) at Langley AFB.  This is a full-time position.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide Tier 1 user support for VIPs and their Executive Officers.  </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues reported by users, to include hardware, mobile devices, software and account management.</li>\n <li>Manage the accreditation process for Classified Processing Areas/TEMPEST.  </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all AF cybersecurity policies and procedures including further guidance from applicable cybersecurity publications addressing COMSEC, COMPUSEC, and EMSEC. </li>\n <li>Support planning for future upgrades and improvements to the information systems to meet evolving organizational needs.</li>\n <li>Account Management, Users and Computers, utilizing Microsoft Active Directory.  </li>\n <li>Develop/maintain an understanding of the mission needs and help identify the resources required to accomplish these goals.  </li>\n <li>Coordinate with government personnel to ensure all cybersecurity initiatives and issues are resolved in a timely manner.  </li>\n <li>Implement the policies of the cybersecurity program and assess the security posture regularly to ensure constant compliance with established security standards and requirements including periodic IT security training and awareness for government personnel.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>3+ years’ experience in network or system administration with IT security.  Must be Security+ certified.  Must be customer service oriented and able to demonstrate strong communication skills and problem-solving/troubleshooting abilities.  Solid foundational knowledge in TCP/IP networks.  Thorough experience in systems administration in a Windows environment.  Experience with COMSEC and PKI.  Experience providing SIPR support.  Significant experience in supporting customers in a DoD environment with a high operational tempo.  Familiar with vulnerability scanning and analysis, including the use of automated tools and vulnerability management systems.  Knowledge of intrusion prevention and network access control tools/systems.  Experience with network backup and data recovery.  Must have a solid understanding of network infrastructure and mission assurance.  Familiar with Federal government and DoD standards for IA/security including RMF, FISMA and NIST.
