Description
Join a Team That Keeps Manufacturing Moving Lloyd Richards Personnel is currently seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals for a Deburr Tech position with one of our valued manufacturing partners. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality finished products, and are looking for an opportunity to grow within a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision tools and equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the success of daily production operations.
Responsibilities Safely load and unload workpieces onto grinding and deburring equipment. Inspect workpieces for defects, irregularities, and imperfections prior to and during processing. Measure and mark materials to ensure proper dimensions, specifications, and tolerances are achieved. Perform grinding and deburring operations to remove excess material and create a smooth, quality finish. Clean and prepare cores and metal components for production and finishing processes. Band, organize, and prepare finished metal products for movement and shipment. Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and product quality. Utilize precision measuring tools and instruments to verify finished dimensions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements. Assist with additional production duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a Deburr Technician, Grinder, or in a similar manufacturing or fabrication role preferred but not required Knowledge of grinding techniques, finishing methods, and related equipment. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements, including drug screening and background checks. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy workpieces and materials.
