Tehachapi is a nice balance of a small-town community within an epicenter of shopping, retail, arts and culture.</p>\n<p>Job Summary:</p>\n<p>Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<div>\n <p>Education and Work Experience:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required</li>\n  <li>Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA</li>\n  <li>Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA</li>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)&nbsp;certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li>\n  <li>Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment</li>\n  <li>Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Essential Functions:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.</li>\n  <li>Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.</li>\n  <li>Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.</li>\n  <li>Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
