If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures | Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design | Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities</li>\n <li>Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers</li>\n <li>Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline </li>\n <li>Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations</li>\n <li>Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction</li>\n <li>Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.</li>\n <li> Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. </li>\n <li> Determines the parts, equipment, tools, and processes needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.</li>\n <li> Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. </li>\n <li> Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes. </li>\n <li> Confers with vendors in order to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment, material purchase, and parts. </li>\n <li> Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.</li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience</li>\n   <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Engineering degree required</li>\n   <li><strong>Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills:</strong> Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Bachelor's Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Oral and written communication skills. Leadership skills.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.</li>\n   <li>Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.</li>\n   <li>Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.</li>\n   <li>May be requested to work a different shift.</li>\n   <li>This position is Safety-Sensitive.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Travel Requirements</h2>Up to 25% travel likely.\n  <h2>Pay Range (USD)</h2>$76,330 - $103, 270\n  <h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
