If the deadline is extended, we will update this job posting accordingly.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Maintenance Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that aircraft within the Wheels Up Private Jets operated fleet are maintained in compliance with all regulatory requirements. You are responsible for monitoring aircraft, initiating, and overseeing maintenance events to ensure aircraft are returned to service in a timely and effective manner. In an executive capacity, the Maintenance Controller supervises the maintenance and/or alteration of Wheels Up Private Jets operated aircraft.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Chamblee, GA</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>As the delegate of the aircraft certificate holder’s Director of Maintenance (DOM), you will execute certain designated functions of the DOM’s office. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all company policies as outlined in the WUPJ operating manual.  </li>\n <li> Ensure all out-of-service for maintenance aircraft are repaired in a timely manner.  </li>\n <li> Assign maintenance personnel, including vendors, in the correct performance of aircraft repairs and overseeing repair efforts as well as maintaining communication on repair status.  </li>\n <li> Create work packages for scheduled, unscheduled, and Line Maintenance.   </li>\n <li> Coordinate with maintenance vendors to plan, execute, oversee, and document maintenance events.   </li>\n <li> Ensure all departments affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of the aircraft.   </li>\n <li> Review aircraft records and tracking to ensure compliance with maintenance programs.   </li>\n <li> Work harmoniously with Maintenance Leadership, Flight Operations, maintenance vendors, and all operational entities and personnel.   </li>\n <li> Ensure proper documentation of the work performed on aircraft prior to approval of the aircraft for return-to-service.   </li>\n <li> Ensure required aircraft parts are obtained and shipped in a timely manner. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant Certificate  </li>\n <li> Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Part 121, 135/91 </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We want to make sure you’re fully equipped for success. The compensation for this role ranges from $84,000/Yr. to $105,000/Yr., depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>** Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work full-time in the United States without the need for present or future visa sponsorship.
