    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate students</li>\n <li>Prepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handouts</li>\n <li>Creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning</li>\n <li>Preparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedback</li>\n <li>Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularly</li>\n <li>Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/ Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A Master’s or PhD. in the relevant academic field</li>\n <li>Previous college level teaching experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*Excluding adjuncts working in the athletic department</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated ability and desire to teach</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge of field</li>\n <li>Ability to make decisions and solve problems</li>\n <li>Performs administrative activities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>USD $3,250.00/Sem\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>USD $2,750.00/Sem",
