    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing technical assistance to SURTASS mission systems to troubleshoot, repair, test, and return to service</li>\n <li>Conducting all tenets of In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) responsibilities in accordance with SPAWARINST 5400 (series) and intermediate and depot level maintenance on SURTASS mission systems and support handling equipment</li>\n <li>Generating reports for SURTASS mission systems status as directed by the government</li>\n <li>Conducting refresher training (REFTRA) in accordance with the MRR manual and SURTASS O&M Technician CTQM</li>\n <li>Reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Changes (ECs), and Requests for Variance (RFV), and develop schedules for implementation</li>\n <li>Utilizing the WILD trouble ticket application to log all maintenance trouble tickets for action in the Job Sequence Number (JSN)/Military Sealift Command (MSC) Work Request (WKRQ) log</li>\n <li>Reviewing technical manuals, publications, and maintenance procedures, and providing recommended revisions to the government</li>\n <li>Identifying and reporting system/software design problems and deficiencies for SURTASS mission systems\n  <ul>\n   <li>The report should include the observed deficiency(s) and recommended solution(s) in a formal report to the government</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Applying the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) System to manage, maintain, update, monitor, and report all SURTASS ship variants Planned Maintenance System (PMS)</li>\n <li>Developing new PMS procedures for inclusion in the PMS system with technical input provided by the equipment Subject Matter Expert and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING</strong></p>\n<p><em>#LI-LL1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Associate's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Technology, or be a graduate of U.S. Navy electronics “C” school or equivalent civilian electronics technical school</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Desired curriculum should have dealt directly with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Navy C5I, secure networks, communications systems, navigation systems, and sonar systems</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Qualified as a Work Center Supervisor in the Navy's Planned Maintenance System (PMS) or equivalent</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Qualified as a Maintenance and Material Management Coordinator (3MC) in the Navy's Planned Maintenance System (PMS) or equivalent</p></li>\n <li><p>Three years of experience with the Navy's Planned Maintenance System Management Information System (PMSMIS) </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to 20% travel may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
