This is a dynamic, people-centered role where no two days look the same. You'll manage HRIS processes and data, keep HR operations running smoothly, and provide day-to-day support that touches every corner of campus. You'll also play a key part in the student employment experience, serving as a trusted bridge between student employees, their supervisors, and our HR team.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive problem-solver who thrives on building relationships and juggling priorities. If you bring strong communication skills, a service-minded approach, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting people, we'd love to welcome you to our team.

Partner with Financial Aid and the Career Collaborative team, and participate in the annual student Job Fair, to guide students through the employment process

Maintain meticulous records of documentation and transactions, and process invoices and expenses
Manage system processes including Oracle job creation, stipend loaders, payroll validation, hiring spreadsheets, and auditing Oracle student data

Manage communication efforts for the People Center, including the weekly institutional newsletter, and triage requests through various channels such as the ticketing system
Coordinate and participate in the delivery of New Hire Orientation
Provide support to all employees across the institution on HR needs—including programs and operations for non-student employees—and process employment verifications and additional requests for employee information
Support employee recognition programs and engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming workplace culture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
1–2 years of HR or administrative experience; experience in a higher education setting a plus

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing and resolving HR issues
Able to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly and work collaboratively across the institution at all levels
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite tools, and a commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and belonging-centered organization
