    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>NaphCare is seeking to hire a motivated and inspiring <strong>Health Services Administrator (HSA)</strong> to join our team of medical professionals in the <strong>City of Las Vegas Detention Center </strong>in<strong> Las Vegas NV. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay rates range from $55.33- $58.24 per hour </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Health Services Administrator (HSA)</strong> leads our medical and mental health teams to ensure our patients in residence receive quality care that protects their rights, dignity and health. As the HSA, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive culture and work environment, setting clear expectations and direction for our staff, communicating practice changes, recruiting, coaching, and developing others. As the leader, you will advocate for nursing needs, offer support and work collaboratively with staff to provide necessary healthcare and treatment services for our patients.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Health Services Administrator (HSA)</strong> leads our medical and mental health services teams to ensure our patients in residence receive quality care that protects their rights, dignity and health. Additional duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with the Medical Director, Mental Health Director and Dental services staff to set clinical priorities and provide direction for nursing services, ensure nursing staff are responsive to patients in our care.</li>\n <li>Provide oversight, case consultation, coaching, and troubleshooting to the staff in the nursing services unit to create a cohesive, skilled, and supported team.</li>\n <li>Directly supervise the Nursing Leadership Team including providing performance reviews, setting and reviewing expectations of the team, advocate for skill development, and perform hiring/separation actions.</li>\n <li>Assure clinical quality standards and expectations are set and monitored through a clinical performance and review process, as well as manage and monitor staff behaviors and expectations to meet all NaphCare policies, guidelines, and expectations to create and maintain a healthy work environment.</li>\n <li>Facilitate staff development activities including clinical practices updates and skill development, community resources/partners updates, and law updates. Provide and/or coordinate in-service training for all jail staff, as needed.</li>\n <li>Monitor and ensure compliance with National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards, Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards, regulatory requirements, and legally mandated training requirements for nursing services.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with NaphCare’s Finance Team to monitor available funds and stay within allotted budget authority.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Experience / Requirements / Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within <strong>NV</strong></li>\n <li>Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association required)</li>\n <li>Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening</li>\n <li>Five years of well-developed administrative, clinical, and progressive management experience in a government or private organization related to comprehensive medical, dental, and mental healthcare services within a correctional health care or acute care setting</li>\n <li>Ability to manage budgets, analyze contracts, managing complex staffing matrices between medical and mental health teams</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills with proven experience leading, managing, and coaching medical staff through complex Human Resource issues and challenges.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of nursing practice principles and techniques, occupational health and safety standards, infectious disease management, applicable health care laws, regulations, and procedures for direct health care services.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information</li>\n <li>Display integrity, professionalism, and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Capabilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Join NaphCare?</strong></p>\n<p>NaphCare is one of the largest providers of healthcare services to correctional facilities throughout the U.S., and we are growing.
