This position provides an exciting opportunity to support the health, safety, and well-being of students by delivering compassionate nursing care within a school-based setting.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Following and enforcing school policies and procedures affecting the health, safety and well-being of employees and students in the school health setting.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">&nbsp;Performsspecialized medical procedures for students after receiving child specific trainingand delegation by registered nurse,including,but not limited to,clean catheterization, enteral tube feeding/medication,seizure care.Administers prescribed medications and treatmentsin accordance withnursing standardsand as directed by the physician.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform routine diagnostic tests, medicaltreatmentsand procedures such as taking and recording temperatures, pulse,respirationand blood pressure; changing sterile dressings, givingirrigations ;EKGs, anddiabetic management.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Assistswith the preparation of equipment and aidsinthe treatment, examination, and testing of patients.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Observes, records, and reports patient&#39;s condition and reaction to drugs and treatment to physicians/nurse practitioners,School HealthSupervisor, SchoolAdministratorsand parent, as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Instructspatients on sample collection and testing.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Arranges forpatientstesting and information.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Orders, prepares, and inspects patients&rsquo; charts.
