    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the pediatric and adult patient requiring a surgical procedure. The PACU RN is a professional nurse who is directly or indirectly responsible for delivering total nursing care to the perioperative patient during the post-operative phases of the perioperative stay. The PACU RN participates in the clinical assessment, planning for care, implantation of appropriate nursing techniques and evaluation of nursing interventions.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Graduate of an accredited nursing program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minimum of 1 year previous PACU experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Current licensure in Texas as Registered Nurse. Certified though the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support.
