In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting temporary power generation and climate control systems used in event environments, temporary structures, and emergency response deployments.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a Generator Technician, you will support the installation and operation of generators, electrical distribution systems, and HVAC equipment that power tents, temporary facilities, and field operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring our equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry safety standards and electrical regulations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What’s a Typical Day Look Like?</span></p>\n<p>Typically, you will arrive at our Orlando warehouse between <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">7:00am and 8:00am</span> to prepare equipment and receive your assignment for the day. Our teams frequently support multiple projects simultaneously, so your work location and responsibilities will vary. One day you may be preparing generators and electrical distribution equipment in the warehouse, while the next day you may be traveling to support a multi-day installation at an event site or temporary structure.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rapid Response division</span> supports government contractors during natural disasters and emergency response operations. In those situations, technicians may deploy to affected areas to install temporary power and climate control systems to support recovery efforts. Deployment schedules and hours may vary depending on project needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">IMPORTANT:</span> This position requires approximately <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">75% travel nationwide</span>, including deployments to event locations, construction sites, disaster response areas, and government installations. When assigned to out-of-town projects, the company will cover all related expenses, including <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">transportation, lodging, and meals</span>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do</span></p>\n<p>Your duties include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install, configure, and maintain protable and standby <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">generator systems</span> for temporary power applications</li>\n<li>Set up <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">temporary electrical distribution systems</span>, including panels, cabling, and grounding systems</li>\n<li>Install and configure <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HVAC units and climate control systems</span> used in tents and temporary structures</li>\n<li>Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on generators, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment</li>\n<li>Preventative maintenance, including fuel system checks, cooling system inspections, and electrical testing</li>\n<li>Perform <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">load bank testing and system performance checks</span> on generators</li>\n<li>Assist with the mobilization, installation, and removal of power and climate control equipment at project sites</li>\n<li>Support tent and temporary structure installations as needed in coordination with field teams</li>\n<li>Maintain service records and equipment maintenance documentation</li>\n<li>Follow electrical safety procedures, including proper PPE, grounding, and lockout/tagout practices\\</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at both warehouse and field sites</li>\n<li>Follow all instructions from supervisors and implement operational plans as directed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p>You are an individual with an unwavering commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>You demonstrate strong technical knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">generator systems, electrical distribution, and HVAC</span></li>\n<li>You maintain a strong safety mindset and follow all electrical safety protocols</li>\n<li>You are dependable and arrive prepared and on time for each assignment</li>\n<li>You have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and extended deployments when required</li>\n<li>You work well as part of a team and support field crews and leadership</li>\n<li>You maintain a positive attitude and are committed to continuous learning</li>\n<li>You are comfortable traveling and working in various environments across the country</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrician License</span> (Journeyman or equivalent preferred)</li>\n<li>Minimum <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3–5 years of experience</span> working with generators, electrical systems, HVAC systems, or temporary power solutions</li>\n<li>Experience installing power or HVAC systems in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">tents, temporary structures, or event environments preferred</span></li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license with ability to travel nationwide</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">50 pounds</span> and work in outdoor environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred certifications may include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Safety Training</li>\n<li>EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC Refrigerant Handling)</li>\n<li>NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<p>We recognize that our team is our greatest asset.
