If you are a dedicated and knowledgeable individual with a drive to make a positive impact in the lives of students, then we would like to hear from you!</p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong><em><u>Developmental Mathematics Professor Responsibilities &amp; Duties</u></em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures and learning activities for Developmental Mathematics courses</li><li>Provide individual and small-group support to students who are struggling with the material</li><li>Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback on their performance</li><li>Collaborate with other Mathematics faculty and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment</li><li>Engage in scholarly and professional activities that support the mission of our institution</li><li>Maintain accurate records and data related to student learning outcomes and other relevant information</li><li>Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in Developmental Mathematics teaching and learning</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong><u>​</u></strong><strong><em><u>Developmental Mathematics Professor Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field</li><li>Minimum requirements, Master&rsquo;s Degree and 18 graduate hours in Mathematics</li><li>Demonstrated experience teaching Developmental Mathematics at the post-secondary level or experience teaching high school mathematics courses.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials</li><li>Commitment to student success and a growth mindset</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team</li><li>Experience using technology such as, Canvas and online tools to support teaching and learning</li><li>A passion for continuous learning and professional development</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong><em><u>Supervisory Responsibility</u></em></strong><strong><u>:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>None (unless otherwise designated by the department)</li></ul><p><strong><em><u>Physical Requirements</u></em></strong><u>:</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle.</li><li>Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.</li><li>Light work typically requiring walking or standing to a significant degree.</li></ul><p><strong><em><u>Working Conditions and Environment</u></em></strong><u>:</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work is routinely performed in a standard interior/office environment.</li><li>Limited or no exposure to physical risk.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table></div>\n",
