We provide a patient centered environment that allows each Providence employee to deliver high quality care to the communities we serve.</p><p>Providence Medical Group is a progressive organization offering competitive compensation and benefits in a supportive, professional work environment. &nbsp;</p><p>We are currently in search of a Charge Entry Specialist for our Administration location in Moraine. <strong><u>&nbsp;(THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION)</u></strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Accurately enters charges in a timely manner.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintain open lines of communication with Providers, Operations Manager, and Revenue Recovery staff.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Has knowledge and understanding of CPT, CPT II, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding and how to use it to represent the services provided.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Corrects patient demographics, insurance IDs, and insurance packages, as needed.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Advises and communicates to Providers proper CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Advises practice personnel in finding correct insurance package in the Athena Practice Management system and ID number formats for clean claims submission.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Identifies possible problems with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transmissions from Athena to clearinghouse to carrier and reports problems and/or trends.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Participate in educational activities such as insurance seminars, Athena or billing entity updates and releases.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Experience</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Minimum of one (1) year of medical office billing experience in primary care. &nbsp;Experience in Athena Practice Management software.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Benefits</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage</li><li>Short Term Disability&nbsp;</li><li>Long Term Disability</li><li>AD&amp;D insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending/Health Savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>401K</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
