What Are My Responsibilities as a Sales Intern at Steel Dynamics?
B2B prospecting using SalesForce database
Identify trade organization events
Assist with events and promotions (summer – travel)
Distribute marketing reports
Assist in special projects
Qualifications
What Qualifications Do I Need?
Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a marketing related major
Must have completed at least their freshman year
Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
Must be highly organized and have a strong ability to multitask
Priorities frequently change, requiring great flexibility
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
Ability to concisely document sales programs, findings and recommendations
Strong analytical and issue identification, prioritization and resolution skills
Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
Must be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentiality
Must be highly proficient with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
