In this role, you will manage the backbone that supports tens of millions of citizens and thousands of emergency 911 centers (PSAPs) across North America. Working across more than a dozen global data centers, you will have direct ownership of on-premises and cloud-based networking for our largest customers ensuring that these mission-critical systems are automated, optimized, and always available.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Take full responsibility for installation, configuration, life-cycle management and troubleshooting across our development and production environments. Provide technical direction and establish engineering standards across multi-vendor platforms including Juniper, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, F5, and Palo Alto.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Define long-term infrastructure strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead implementation initiatives that improve scalability, security, automation, and operational efficiency.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex operational issues, critical incidents, and major infrastructure upgrades. Drive resolution efforts while ensuring high availability, resiliency, and reliability for mission-critical NG911 services.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mentor and guide engineers across the organization by promoting engineering best practices, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify network bottlenecks, resiliency gaps, and performance improvement opportunities across production environments.
