    "description": "<p><span>Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization.  We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p>We currently have an opening for a Middle School Teacher.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">POSITION GOAL<br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide appropriate feedback on work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching 16px;\">Participate in program, school, district, and parent meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prepare classroom for class activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Cohesively work with Instructional Assistant on academic and behavioral charting, establishing classroom rules, enforcing the TALID System.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Encourage parent and community involvement, obtain information for parents when requested, promptly return phone calls and answer emails.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Participate in appropriate professional activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs related field teaching</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Pennsylvania certification/private certification in teaching </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:
