As a comprehensive manufacturer of engineered composite products, Carfair Composites supplies quality fiberglass components to the original equipment manufacturers operating in agriculture, automotive, construction, transportation, commercial, food processing, and medical industries.\n\n POSITION SUMMARY:  \n\nAs a Grinder/Trimmer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and perfecting fiberglass parts, using hand tools to smooth rough edges and make precision cuts\n\n WHY JOIN OUR TEAM: \n\n Training Provided  – We’ll show you everything you need to know!\n Competitive Pay & Benefits   Competitive Wages and comprehensive benefit package with that includes medical, dental, vision, GRRSP plan, life insurance and disability programs.\n Paid holidays and vacation.\n Friendly Work Environment   Inclusive workplace culture that values and empowers team members.\n On the job training in a continuous learning environment through variety of in house training initiatives.\n\n WHAT YOU WILL DO: \n\n Smooth Surfaces: Use sanding and grinding tools to make fiberglass parts smooth and even.\n Precision Cutting: Trim parts with accuracy to achieve uniform thickness.\n Finish and Shape: Follow instructions to trim, drill, route, and grind parts\n Read Blueprints: Understand blueprints to complete parts according to specific dimensions.\n Mark with Accuracy: Use guides (Jigs) to mark parts correctly for the next production steps.\n Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment in acceptable condition for safe, effective use.\n Quality Assurance: Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensions.\n Stay Organized: Support Lean and 5S initiatives to keep the workspace organized.\n\n WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL \n\n Composite & Fiberglass Experience (Preferred) – Experience working with composites, fiberglass, sanding, or grinding tools is a plus, but not required.\n Hands On Skills – Comfortable using basic tools, with training provided for pneumatic, electric, and manual hand tools.\n Attention to Detail – Takes pride in producing high quality parts by following instructions carefully.\n Team Player – Works well with others to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.\n Reliable & Independent – Shows up on time, follows directions, and takes initiative when needed.\n Physical Readiness – Able to stand for long periods and lift 20–50 lbs as needed.\n\n OUR WHY:  \n\nWe exist to move people.
