GEO Next Generation High School is a tuition-free, public charter school that will begin with 9th grade and add a grade each year over the subsequent three years. Our teachers cultivate critical thinking skills students need to understand how the world works around them. Our dedicated faculty are committed to providing an outstanding education for students each day as they transition from elementary to middle school to high school and COLLEGE. Through our partnership with the local community college, our students will be able to take dual credit courses with the opportunity to earn college credit at no cost to the student. Our curriculum and our teaching methods are designed using Core Knowledge, Teach Like a Champion and blended learning model. We are a TAP school!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION:</strong></p><p>To provide opportunities for a specific student growth, focusing on an assigned student who are deficient in learning skills, have some behavior issues and lack a positive self-esteem.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>REPORTS TO/TERM:</strong></p><p>School Leadership and Director of SPED</p><p>This is a 10-month / Full Time position.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Key Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Instruct identified ESS student</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete records of the progress log, attendance log, exit form, and student data form for the&nbsp;</li><li>assigned student.</li><li>Attend ESS staff meetings and IEP meetings for the assigned student.</li><li>Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the ESS teacher, Sped Coordinator, and/or Principal</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Provide intervention for all subject areas to the assigned student.</li><li>Accompany the assigned student to all scheduled classes.</li></ul>",
