This role supports daily camp operations by ensuring all indoor and outdoor spaces are clean, organized, and sanitary.</p><p><strong>Position Description:</strong></p><p>The Custodian will support the summer camp program by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks, helping maintain a safe environment for children&rsquo;s activities. The position plays an important role in ensuring health, safety, and comfort for all participants and staff.</p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&bull; Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance work preferred</p><p>&bull; Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines</p><p>&bull; Basic communication skills in English (Ukrainian)</p><p>&bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p><p>&bull; Must pass required background check (if applicable)</p><p><strong>General Expectations:</strong></p><p>&bull; Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of camp facilities</p><p>&bull; Follow health and safety standards at all times</p><p>&bull; Work cooperatively with camp staff and administration</p><p>&bull; Be reliable, punctual, and responsible</p><p>&bull; Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><p>&bull; Clean classrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces</p><p>&bull; Empty trash and manage waste disposal</p><p>&bull; Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed</p><p>&bull; Assist with basic maintenance tasks when needed</p><p>&bull; Report any damage, hazards, or repair needs</p><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; Ability to perform physical cleaning and lifting tasks</p><p>&bull; Attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety</p><p>&bull; Ability to follow directions and routines</p><p>&bull; Time management and reliability</p><p>&bull; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</p><p>&bull; Understanding of basic sanitation and hygiene practices</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants is an equal opportunity employer.
