    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Reporting to the Brake Press Supervisor this role is primarily responsible for the daily setup and operation of Cincinnati hydraulic CNC controlled press brakes in a just-in-time fabrication shop with some assistance provided. The Brake Press Operator may be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as required. Availability on 1st/2nd/3rd Shift. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and operate a hydraulic press or punch press for routine established work.</li>\n <li>Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance.</li>\n <li>Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with some assistance from a supervisor or a lead.</li>\n <li>Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations</li>\n <li>Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system.</li>\n <li>Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.</li>\n <li>Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.</li>\n <li>Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.</li>\n <li>Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team.</li>\n <li>Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must have strong metal press forming and basic fabrication background.</li>\n <li>Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.</li>\n <li>Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.</li>\n <li>Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.</li>\n <li>Ability to use a forklift.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.</li>\n <li>Work in an efficient and timely manner</li>\n <li>Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently</li>\n <li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task</li>\n <li>A High School diploma or GED Equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydralic press and/or punch operations including basic setup is desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:</p>\n<p>Minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PM17</p>\n<h2>Job Expectations</h2>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>Physical Activity:</p>\n<p>Activity</p>\n<p>N/A</p>\n<p>Occasionally</p>\n<p>Frequently</p>\n<p>Regularly</p>\n<p>Average lbs.</p>\n<p>Lift/Carry</p>   X\n<p>25 lbs routinely, 55 lbs occasionally</p>\n<p>Push/Pull</p>   X\n<p>25 lbs routinely, 55 lbs occasionally</p>\n<p>Reach Overhead</p> X  \n<p>Comments: Magnet assist for lifting.     </p>\n<p>Climb</p> X  \n<p>Squat/Bend/Kneel</p> X  \n<p>Sit</p>X   \n<p>Stand</p>   X\n<p>Walk/Move About</p>   \n<p> X</p>\n<p>Occasional: 1-2 hrs./shift   Frequently   2-5 hrs./shift   Regularly 5-8 hrs./shif</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Equipment Operated:   Various hand tools, grinders, Dyanfile, sanding, overhead crane, measurement devices. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Personal Protective Equipment Required as Outlined per Company Safety (PPE)Requirements:                               </p>\n<p> No   Yes (Steel toe/metatarsal required)</p>\n<p>Hearing Protection   Eye Protection Safety Shoes   Other: Gloves      </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<p>Regularly exposed to varying temperature conditions between 60-100 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, moving machinery parts, airborne particles, and fumes from production equipment. </p>\n<p> </p>",
