This leader oversees a team of charge capture specialists and is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining high-quality standards, and implementing best practices that align with organizational goals. The Supervisor is responsible for identifying trends impacting charge capture and communicating with the sites supported. The Supervisor must be capable of mentoring the team while setting an example consistent with COH mission, vision, value and bond. The Supervisor must have strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS and CMS/payer billing guidelines. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Integrity Manager, this role is pivotal in optimizing revenue cycle performance and compliance . As a successful candidate, you will: Team Leadership and Oversight Supervise and mentor a team of charge capture professionals across multiple facilities Monitor daily operations to ensure timely and accurate charge entry Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement Operational Excellence Develop and implement standardized workflows, policies, and procedures for charge capture Establish productivity benchmarks and quality metrics to measure team performance Collaborate with clinical and financial departments to resolve charge discrepancies Quality and Compliance Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal audit standards Perform routine audits to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Partner with Revenue Integrity leadership to support compliance initiatives Reporting and Communication Provide regular updates to the Senior Revenue Integrity Manager on team performance and operational issues Prepare and present data-driven reports on productivity, quality, and charge capture outcomes Serve as a liaison between charge capture staff and other departments Participates in yearly budget preparation for the sites supported Other duties as assigned Join the transformative team at City of Hope , where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses.
