This person will also manage the UK costing remotely.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This role reports to the Corporate Controller and a dotted line to the UK controller, and has global responsibility for ensuring accurate product costing, inventory integrity, and effective partnership.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate is someone who can communicate clearly and precisely, earn credibility on the plant floor, and execute solutions effectively.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Cost Accounting &amp; Analysis</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Own standard product costing, including cost rolls, BOMs, labor, overhead, and routings</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform material, labor, and overhead variance analysis against standard and budgeted costs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigate price, usage, rate, efficiency, spending, and volume variances and identify root causes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver monthly variance reporting with clear, executive-level explanations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Translate variances into actionable cost control and efficiency initiatives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and approve cost changes, new product costings, and process improvements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliation of inventory and cost of goods sold.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Inventory Management &amp; Controls</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure accurate inventory valuation in compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner closely with Operations and Supply Chain to plan and execute annual physical inventories.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and recommend resolutions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor excess and obsolete inventory and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Systems &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Act as a subject matter expert in ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred; other major ERPs acceptable) for costing and inventory processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop, maintain, and deliver advanced Excel analyses, reports, and dashboards for decision-making.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support ERP system enhancements, process improvements, and potential global system integrations.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Business Partnership &amp;
