Description
Special Instructions to Applicants Application materials required: resume, cover letter. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. The University will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B). Job Summary This position supports MEC projects and programs focusing on the ocean, and scientific and environmental literacy. The successful applicant will instruct and implement existing MEC programs. The position includes significant interaction with a broad spectrum of community audiences. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Deliver education programs to all audiences. Collect program evaluation data. Assist in development of new educational activities for MEC seasonal programs. Collect and enter environmental monitoring data. Maintain certification in CPR and first aid. Be responsible for safe conduct of minors on campus. Use and maintain lab and field equipment, supplies, and workspaces. Perform other duties as assigned.
