          "text": "<p><strong>WHAT’S THE ROLE?</strong></p><p>We are seeking a Junior Accountant &amp; Project Controls&#xa0;to support both operations finance and construction project delivery. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role sits at the intersection of business finance, contract management, and project controls, providing end-to-end financial oversight across site development and hospitality operations.</p><p>The role is responsible for tracking financial performance and burn rates at the contract level, including both client agreements and subcontractor commitments, ensuring alignment between execution, cost performance, and forecast outcomes. This position partners closely with operations, project teams, and finance to drive disciplined, data-driven decision-making across all active and upcoming projects.</p><p>We look forward to meeting you!&#xa0;&#xa0;Please include a brief 2–4 sentence summary (at the very top of your resume or in a cover letter) highlighting the employer and role where you supported month-end close activities (including accruals and allocations) and one role where you performed project controls tasks as described in the key responsibilities below.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Financial Planning, Reporting &amp; Analysis</p><ul><li>Prepare monthly financial statements by contract, project, and business unit vs budget and forecast</li><li>Perform variance analysis at contract and site level, identifying drivers and recommending corrective actions</li><li>Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range business planning</li><li>Analyze site-level profitability, cost structures, and key financial KPIs</li></ul><p>Project Controls &amp; Contract-Level Financial Management</p><ul><li>Act as a project controls partner, supporting cost tracking, forecasting, and financial governance across projects</li><li>Monitor and report on burn rates and financial performance for each signed contract, including:<ul><li>Client contracts (revenue, billing, margin performance)</li><li>Subcontractor agreements (cost commitments, accruals, cost-to-complete)</li></ul></li><li>Maintain contract-level cost tracking models for both site development and hospitality operations</li><li>Support cost-to-complete forecasting and early identification of financial risks and overruns</li><li>Ensure alignment between contract scope, execution progress, and financial reporting</li></ul><p>Operations Support &amp; Business Partnering</p><ul><li>Partner with operations leadership and project teams to improve financial performance and cost discipline</li><li>Provide insight into cost drivers, productivity, and operational efficiency</li><li>Support decision-making through scenario analysis, business cases, and ad hoc financial modeling</li></ul><p>Accounting, Close &amp; Controls</p><ul><li>Support month-end close, including accruals, allocations, and revenue recognition considerations</li><li>Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger review</li><li>Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal financial controls</li><li>Support audits and documentation for internal and external stakeholders</li></ul><p>Reporting &amp; Governance</p><ul><li>Prepare financial reporting packages for leadership and key stakeholders</li><li>Develop and maintain standardized reporting for contract performance, burn rates, and project KPIs</li><li>Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial and operational systems</li></ul><p>WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?</p><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Benefits package benefits</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Growth and development opportunities</li></ul><p>Follow Dexterra Group on&#xa0;<a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/dexterra-group/mycompany/de\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LinkedIn</a>.</p>",
