    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position reports directly to EHS Director with dotted line responsibilities to the plant manager. The role serves as the staff specialist in Environmental Health and Safety by developing and carrying out procedures with the line organization that effectively control environmental, health, and safety risk exposures in the company. This position will need to have a good working knowledge of State and Federal safety, health, and environmental regulations.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigates injuries in conjunction with line and staff personnel. Notifies top management of pertinent details.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Guides and assists plant personnel at locations with critical safety and health Opportunities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Overviews company accident statistics and makes recommendations for correction of problem areas.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in planning safety and industrial hygiene services of insurance carriers and internal resources to obtain optimum service.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in the oversite of internal forklift certification process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with professional organizations to promote goals and objectives in the health and safety area that affect company&rsquo;s business.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates injuries with the worker&rsquo;s compensation department.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists coordinating and conducting EH&amp;S training programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation to determine root cause and corrective actions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures that the company is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists with the development and execution of programs as listed above.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducts scheduled audits to assist management in determining workplace hazards and assist in development of corrective actions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develops and submits required Tier 2, Title V and OSHA Summary logs and secures required permits as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All other duties as assigned<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><em>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent preferred in related field</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5-7 yrs. exp performing EH&amp;S tasks within a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Essential Qualifications:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong> <em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
