    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Summary of Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate proficiencies in hospital daily linen responsibilities:</li><li>Sort soil linens in accordance with department, organizational policies.</li><li>Process clean linen and maintain adequate levels throughout the day.</li><li>Provide nursing units with necessary linens and exchange carts.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Educational Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED is preferred.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent work ethics, self-motivated, strong customer service skills and works well in a team environment.</li><li>Responsible, flexible and adaptive to work schedules, takes pride in quality and quantity of linens produced.</li><li>Maintains a good professional image.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to push, pull or lift at least 25 pounds frequently.</li><li>Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop or stretch frequently.</li><li>Must posses four acute faculties of: seeing, hearing, touching, and smelling.</li><li>Be able to work in Extreme Heat and Humidity majority of the time.</li><li>Exposure to heavy concentration of airborne lint.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Observe and report any safety hazards to Laundry Manager, Laundry Mechanic or Linen Specialist, and follows procedures for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>Demonstrate ability to produce laundry to specifications in efficient and cost effective manner using various pieces of equipment, accurately records production and delivery data on specified worksheets and portable data terminal, and meets the needs of those we serve through the continuous improvement as specified in customer satisfaction measures.</li><li>Always willing to help others within the department or outside of the department on a voluntary basis.</li><li>Attend all work related In-service Training and meetings assigned and applies training within the work environment, and complies with policies relating to time and attendance.</li><li>Responds positively and adapts well to changes in organizational structure and unscheduled changes which may interrupt normal routine within the department.</li><li>Performs all other tasks/responsibilities as necessary.</li></ul>",
