Age exception can approved by regional security director if all other qualifications are meet.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Demonstrate ability to read, write and converse clearly in English.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Customer focused and practice good telephone skills.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Practice normal hygiene and personal cleanliness, neat in dress and appearance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>High school education or equivalent.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Completed state certification and licensing, as required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Satisfactory completion of initial drug test, criminal background check, motor vehicle record check (as appropriate), and annual first aid/CPR/AED certification.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Be a certified Fire Guard, if applicable.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Ability to obtain certification as a Fire Safety Director, if required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Minimum one (1) year prior Security Officer Experience. Previous law enforcement or military experience may substitute for previous security officer experience.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Requirements of position:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Safeguard Bank&rsquo;s personnel, assets and property.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Identify employees and other authorized personnel entering Bank buildings or departments.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Screen visitors, maintenance / construction workers, vendors, couriers and other personnel by confirming their entry is authorized.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Ensure property passes or other authorization accompanies personnel leaving with equipment or packages.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Respond to emergency conditions within assigned building or department and take corrective action at the direction of supervisors.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Enforce all post orders respective to the assignment and conform to the articles covered in the general orders.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Assist customers, employees, visitors, emergency responders and others as required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Patrol Bank premises.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Perform duties of a Fire Guard or a Fire Safety Director, as required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Prepare incident reports detailing all information and actions taken to address conditions or emergencies.</p>\r\n",
