    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n<p>As an Intermediate Software Engineer, you will be a core contributor to our proprietary e-commerce software platform — the system our customers trust every day.</p>\n<p>You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team, taking ownership of features and services across our microservices architecture, from design through deployment and operation. We're looking for engineers who are curious, pragmatic, and comfortable navigating a large, evolving codebase — and who embrace modern AI-assisted development practices to move faster and smarter.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Take ownership of components within our microservices architecture — design, develop, enhance, and maintain them with quality and reliability in mind.</li>\n <li>Translate business and product requirements (sometimes ambiguous) into clean, well-structured technical solutions.</li>\n <li>Estimate work effort and contribute meaningfully to project planning and delivery timelines.</li>\n <li>Dive into a large, multi-service codebase quickly — comprehend existing patterns and begin contributing in a short ramp-up period.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineers across teams to identify gaps, surface risks early, and drive technical decisions to resolution.</li>\n <li>Write unit and integration tests; uphold code quality standards through code reviews and automation.</li>\n <li>Support production systems and assist our 3-tier support staff when incidents arise.</li>\n <li>Proactively use AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and reduce repetitive work.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>3–5+ years</strong>&nbsp;of professional software development experience in a multi-team environment.</li>\n <li><strong>.NET Framework / .NET Core / C#</strong>&nbsp;– developing APIs, services, and back-end business logic.</li>\n <li><strong>React</strong>&nbsp;– Understanding &amp; hands on component-driven front-end applications.</li>\n <li><strong>Cloud – Microsoft Azure</strong>&nbsp;– working knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, or equivalent).</li>\n <li><strong>Databases</strong>&nbsp;– proficiency with&nbsp;<strong>SQL Server</strong>&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;<strong>PostgreSQL</strong>; experience with schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.</li>\n <li><strong>RESTful API design</strong>&nbsp;– building and consuming well-structured, versioned APIs.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of&nbsp;<strong>Agile / Scrum</strong>&nbsp;practices and the full software development lifecycle.</li>\n <li><strong>Containers</strong>&nbsp;– hands-on experience with&nbsp;<strong>Docker</strong>; familiarity with container orchestration concepts.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated use of&nbsp;<strong>AI-assisted development tools</strong>&nbsp;(GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar) as part of everyday engineering workflow.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to learn and adapt to newer patterns and technologies as the landscape evolves.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps.</li>\n <li>Exposure to event-driven architecture or message brokers (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Kafka).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For in You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>You take ownership — you don't wait for perfect requirements before making progress.</li>\n <li>You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>\n <li>You care about the quality of your work, not just getting it done.</li>\n <li>You're comfortable with ambiguity and know when to escalate vs. self-solve.</li>\n <li>You're genuinely curious about emerging tools and technologies, including AI, and look for ways to apply them practically.</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom:0in\">\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><i>We are an equal opportunity employer.
