These tasks are frequently performed by teams of two or more stage builders that utilize various pneumatic and electric tools, forklifts, aerial lifts, telehandlers and overhead cranes. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must qualify to wear fall protection while working at heights greater than five feet</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift and handle steel scaffolding, various types of lumber including planks and plywood</li>\n <li>Must possess basic math skills and perform layouts with measuring tools</li>\n <li>Must qualify to operate forklifts, overhead cranes and aerial lifts</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment and or work independently</li>\n <li>Must be able to follow directions from supervision and meet daily goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience</li>\n <li>Valid drivers license</li>\n <li>Available to work all shifts</li>\n <li>Ability to complete the QP safety harness training and wear a QP provided safety harness</li>\n <li>Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme</li>\n <li>Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience or training in one or more of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Carpentry or stage building or construction </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes and aerial lifts </li>\n <li>Experience with fall protection </li>\n <li>Scaffolding experience and familiarity with Universal Scaffolding </li>\n <li>Experience working in the construction industry, a manufacturing environment or related trade training </li>\n <li>Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice programs</li>\n <li>Military/Navy related experience </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment and meet organizational goals</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Outside, Wet",
