Apply now! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>An Assistant Department Manager contributes to creating a customer-centric environment by supporting the store leadership team in customer service, daily store objectives, consistent product flow and leading the team to achieve overall store goals. </p>\n<h2>Role Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Customer Experience </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions and happenings</li>\n <li>Contributes to a selling environment by connecting with multiple customers, sharing product information, and maintaining pricing</li>\n <li>Delivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding of product, pricing strategy, and utilization of technology</li>\n <li>Supports the customer in-store pickup process including loading of furniture into vehicles</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Leadership + Team Management  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads the store environment and customer experience with managing and adjusting the daily zone chart, driving sales, and maximizing productivity in all store areas</li>\n <li>Acts as an elevated team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance store experience</li>\n <li>Provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Visual + Business Operations </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Helps to impact efficient processing and assists with product placement within a specialized area</li>\n <li>Maintains standards and cleanliness by supporting daily tasks to create the best possible store environment</li>\n <li>Supports daily opening and closing procedures along with ensuring product pricing and promotions are executed and signed accurately</li>\n <li>Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store  </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Communication + Relationships   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively participates in daily meetings and takes initiative in communicating store objectives, goals and accountability to store processes</li>\n <li>Checks in with leadership to maintain communication and teamwork on completing store objectives, helps to inform associate team</li>\n <li>Assists the Associate team in their growth and problem solving; supports new hire onboarding in their orientation and zone training for associate team</li>\n <li>Holds employees accountable to scheduling and timecard company policy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Role Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Leadership experience</li>\n <li>Great communicator able to set clear objectives and follow through</li>\n <li>Must be comfortable on a ladder and have ability to lift and push more than 50lbs </li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Perks</h2>\n<p>URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
