Our diverse and progressive therapy department participates in research and program advancement throughout the 450 bed hospital</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>At our company, we support your career growth and personal well-being. </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Start Strong</strong>: Extensive and thorough orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting</li>\n <li><strong>Recharge & Refresh</strong>: Generous PTO and Paid Sick Time for full-time team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance</li>\n <li><strong>Your Health Matters</strong>: Comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, employee assistance program (EAP), and dental plan offerings for full-time team members</li>\n <li><strong>Invest in Your Future:</strong> Company-matching 401(k) retirement plan, as well as life and disability protection for full-time team members</li>\n <li><strong>Your Impact Matters:</strong> Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Under Direct Supervision of Therapists:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists Therapists with transferring patients to/from all surfaces and equipment appropriate to the facility/department </li>\n <li>Assists Therapists in donning/doffing all adaptive equipment specific to the facility/department.</li>\n <li>Assists Therapists with positioning patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment</li>\n <li>Assists Therapists with other patient related treatment activities as appropriate and providing equipment</li>\n <li>Assist Therapists with patient related activities including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act</li>\n <li>Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition.</li>\n <li>Prepares department each morning</li>\n <li>Picks up equipment during treatment hours and at the end of treatment day</li>\n <li>Maintains department and disinfects equipment throughout and at the conclusion of the treatment day according to hospital infection control policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Reports defective equipment to Therapy Supervisor</li>\n <li>Follows and assists with facility infection control policies and risk management procedures</li>\n <li>Assists the Therapy Supervisor with identification of support staff needs for patient care</li>\n <li>Assist Therapists in therapeutic dysphagia and feeding program as requested and supervised by the speech therapists</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct patient care experience required</li>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disabled/Veterans</p>",
