Custom builds and installs cabinets and furniture made of a variety of materials.</li><li>Manufactures custom millwork that matches existing trim and moldings in historic buildings.</li><li>Operates millwork machinery. Performs scheduled maintenance of millwork tools.</li><li>Repairs or replaces cabinets, countertops and furniture made of a variety of materials.</li><li>Selects specified type of lumber or other materials.</li><li>Tears out, builds, and installs white or bulletin boards into existing frames and new application aluminum frame boards. Performs demolition work on existing cabinet work and furniture.</li><li>Verifies accuracy of repairs using related tools. Evaluates repairs; modifies and performs repairs using blueprints; and considering building codes and standards.</li><li>Performs work and cross trains in at least one other trade as an apprentice.
