Oversee all aspects of the store to ensure success daily as well as the strategic goals of the Company. &nbsp;<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. &nbsp;Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintain customer service goals and objectives on a consistent basis, making sure that each customer has a great experience every time they enter and leave the store.</li><li>Handle all customer complaints in a professional and effective manner.</li><li>Actively support and recruit new customers and employees.&nbsp;</li><li>Enforce and maintain Company policies and procedures.</li><li>Meet and work to exceed sales goals.</li><li>Control labor costs in conjunction with payroll budget in order to minimize waste but maximize sales.</li><li>Control and track inventory making sure the numbers stay correct in the system, including: receiving, transferring and distribution to other store locations properly.</li><li>Reduce, monitor and record wasted/damaged inventory.</li><li>Maintain proper signage and displays of merchandise.</li><li>Coordinate deliveries to customers and outgoing transfers to other stores.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform the duties necessary to successfully open and close the store; make sure banking needs are met for the day and the next few days, including making deposits.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide appropriate paperwork and reports to corporate office; including receiving, sales, spending and personnel paperwork.</li><li>Attend and participate in Monday morning manager meetings and relay information to store personnel.</li><li>Participate and support corporate sponsored advertising, events and clubs.</li><li>Attend training sessions and trade shows as required.</li><li>Perform basic human resource duties within store; e.g. hiring, terminating, training, reviewing, counseling, scheduling and promoting employees.</li><li>Conduct annual performance reviews.</li><li>Communicate goals and daily expectations to all managerial staff.</li><li>Conduct store staff meetings and daily huddles.</li><li>Guide, direct and assign tasks to departments/employees.</li><li>Monitor employee performance daily and provide feedback.</li><li>Communicate with personnel in a positive manner; ensure they are aware of the proper steps to discuss an issue/problem/concern (follow chain of command).</li><li>Resolve all problems that may arise within the store, including conflicts between personnel.&nbsp;</li><li>Make sure the store is clean, stocked and adequately staffed at all times.</li><li>Maintain the upkeep of the facility and all equipment; notify the corporate office of any needs/issues.
