Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security within a 24/7 operations environment.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">**Please note security clearance on resume.**<br><br></span><strong><u>&nbsp;Duties</u></strong></p><ul><li>Provide continuous monitoring, identification, and reporting of vulnerabilities (zero day, CVE, IAVM) of the Enterprise utilizing Cybersecurity and logging tools such as HBSS, ACAS, IDS, IPS, and SIEM logging solutions.</li><li>Report, document, and verify closure of Cybersecurity and compliance findings</li><li>Communicate with external Intel &amp; Cyber Teams.</li><li>Monitor and analyze network and client-based intrusion detection tools to identify security issues for remediation.</li><li>Tune Intrusion Detection &amp; Prevention tools.</li><li>Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough the review, analysis,&amp; correlation of relevant event detail and summary information.</li><li>Evaluate boundary change requests and assess organizational risk.</li><li>Provide primary operational support for security events and alerts.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform Computer Security Incident Response activities for a large organization and coordinate with other government agencies to identify, respond, &amp; report incidents.</li><li>Perform evidence collection, document incident, communicate with internal and external teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare incident reports of analysis methodology and results.</li><li>Submit threat indicators collected during analysis.</li><li>Design and maintain security playbooks and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate shift handovers and incident documentation across a continuously staffed team.</li><li>Communicate alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications, and operating systems.</li><li>Assist with implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls.</li><li>Conduct regular audits to ensure systems are being operated securely, and information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans.</li><li>Safeguard the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure.</li><li>Participate in evaluation, implementation, and troubleshooting of new Cybersecurity tools.</li><li>Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, understanding of the threat landscape and emerging security threats.</li><li>Research, evaluate, test, communicate, and implement new security software or devices.</li><li>Conduct routine investigations of information systems security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to management.</li><li>Implement, enforce, communicate, and develop security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and information systems security education/awareness programs.</li><li>Ensure the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications.</li><li>Perform periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments of user accounts, application access, file system and external Web integrity.</li><li>Work with teammates to enhance skills to strengthen and enhance capabilities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy laws.</li><li>Administer Cybersecurity tools deticated to area of responsibility</li><li>Maintain Cybersecurity tool compliance with vulnerability &amp;
