We provide the maintenance depth and technical standards that help make every trip effortless for our guests by delivering safety, reliability, and peace of mind with every takeoff.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity</span><br>Reporting to the Vice President, Maintenance, the Director of Maintenance is a senior leadership role responsible for the performance of a multi-aircraft AMO by bringing together regulatory excellence, people leadership, and operational discipline. This role is for a hands-on maintenance leader with deep technical credibility, strong Transport Canada relationships, and the drive to build a high-performing team that consistently delivers safe, high-quality maintenance outcomes.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the AMO’s relationship with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), including approvals, audits, correspondence, and findings</li>\n<li>Drive full compliance with CARs, approved manuals, company policies, and evolving regulatory requirements</li>\n<li>Champion safety and quality across the operation by setting standards, reinforcing best practices, and addressing risk early</li>\n<li>Set production targets and work with the Production Manager accountable for daily execution; monitor AME utilization and billing performance, and drive corrective actions</li>\n<li>Strengthen defect prevention and corrective action by tracking trends, approving corrective actions for recurring issues, and ensuring timely resolution</li>\n<li>Oversee maintenance workmanship and adherence to manufacturer recommendations and industry standards; escalate concerns and ensure corrective actions are implemented</li>\n<li>Ensure current technical publications are available, controlled, and used by maintenance personnel</li>\n<li>Lead and develop technical (hangar) teams through coaching, performance management, and succession planning</li>\n<li>Build and maintain a maintenance personnel training program (initial, recurrent, and type-related)</li>\n<li>Lead third-party AMO work package execution (as required), including acting as the point of contact, managing findings, monitoring labour/parts costs, and ensuring release requirements are met</li>\n<li>Review unserviceable parts for disposition, and support accurate and complete invoicing practices</li>\n<li>Support recruitment of technical talent and participate in an on-call leadership rotation as scheduled</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Aircraft Types Supported<br></span>Falcon 2000EX (Honeywell EASy II), Challenger 604 (Fusion) / 605 (Proline 21), Citation X (Primus 2000), Citation V/Ultra (GNT 650/750), Citation Excel (Primus 1000), Hawker 800XP (Primus 2000) , Lear 75 (Garmin 5000), Gulfstream 150 (Proline 21), King Air 350 (Proline Fusion)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Your Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid TCCA M2 AME licence with 10+ years of aviation maintenance experience</li>\n<li>5+ years in a supervisory/leadership role within a maintenance environment</li>\n<li>Strong regulatory knowledge and proven experience working with TCCA</li>\n<li>Excellent troubleshooting skills and sound operational decision-making</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s licence</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain/hold a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)</li>\n<li>Valid passport and ability to travel worldwide as required</li>\n<li>Authorization to work in Canada</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Valuable Assets</span><br>Type endorsement on one or more aircraft listed above</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Total Rewards</span><br>Our total rewards are built to support your health, growth, and long-term future, including:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>RRSP/TFSA matching starting at 10% and increasing up to 19% (9.5% + 9.5%) based on time in service</li>\n<li>90% employer-paid health benefits, including extended health care, flexible drug plan, dental and vision, long-term disability, and life insurance</li>\n<li>Health Spending Account (HSA) based on time in service, up to $1,500/year</li>\n<li>Personal Spending Account (PSA) based on time in service, up to $1,800/year</li>\n<li>Professional development reimbursement up to $1,000/year</li>\n<li>Additional paid time off beyond vacation, including birthday and volunteer days</li>\n</ul>",
