The successful candidate should have a minimum of five years of project management experience for utility and/or government/private sector clients, preferably in the field of GIS or engineering. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for the execution of client projects.</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing information from customers to identify, recommend, and direct implementation of solutions to improve a client&rsquo;s processes, services, and efficiency. Superior verbal and written communication skills are required along with a high level of attention to detail.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Support clients, GIS operations, and applications.</li><li>Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.</li><li>Document business and user requirements, defining scope and objectives.</li><li>Confer with, advise on, and document recommendations to client management on procedures, policies, problems, priorities, and methods.</li><li>Collaborate with the client and project team using a variety of communication strategies.</li><li>Support technical staff in ensuring compliance with and completion of tasks required for project success.</li><li>Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.</li><li>Implement PMI and PMBOK standards in project management activities.</li><li>Update and maintain project schedules while analyzing progress in support of technical staff to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved to client satisfaction.</li><li>Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.</li><li>Prepare project operational documentation and methods.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.</li><li>Assist customers with data modeling and system planning.</li><li>Prepare status reports as required by customer or other mandates.</li><li>Support business development activities through the sales and proposal response processes.</li></ul><p><strong>Education - Experience &amp; Skills Required</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field. Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>A minimum of five years of consulting or project management.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of GIS software and geospatial applications (e.g., Esri, Smallworld, etc.).</li><li>Understanding of data modeling.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communications skills.</li><li>Certification preferred (e.g., PMP, GISCI, etc.).</li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Consulting or project management: Five years (Required)</li><li>GIS software (e.g., Esri, Smallworld, etc.): Five years (Required)</li><li>Understanding of data modeling: Five years (Required)</li></ul><p><strong>License/Certification:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Project Management Professional (Preferred)</li><li>GIS Professional, etc. (Preferred)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong data-pasted=\"true\">Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
