Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, FirstEnergy includes one of the nation's largest investor-owned electric systems, more than 24,000 miles of transmission lines that connect the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions, and a regulated generating fleet with a total capacity of more than 3,500 megawatts.</p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n  <p><i><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></i><br><br>\n   This is an open position with FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.<br>\n   &nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n  <p>This position is a Distribution Associate based out of the Erie Service Center location.</p>\n </div>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin-bottom:0px !important;margin-right:0px;margin-top:0px !important;padding:0px\">\n <p><strong>Minimum Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Demonstrates a solid commitment to safety.</li>\n  <li>Support of time keeping Duties for field employees.</li>\n  <li>Invoicing of critical vendors and contractors for critical materials and services.</li>\n  <li>Purchase Requisitions Creation and Maintenance for substation and network accounts.</li>\n  <li>Completing month-end accruals and purchase reconciliation&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Capable of performing basic correspondence and reports utilizing Microsoft Office Products and SAP.</li>\n  <li>Maintains filing and record systems associated with the Operations Services Section.</li>\n  <li>Maintains appointment calendars, meeting schedules and travel arrangements when necessary.</li>\n  <li>After training, must be able to perform the following duties in SAP: process and/or record expense accounts, credit card accounts, timesheets, invoices for payment, requisitions for office supplies etc.</li>\n  <li>Demonstrates sound internal and external customer service.</li>\n  <li>Builds relationships and credibility across the organization.</li>\n  <li>Increases understanding of customer expectations.</li>\n  <li>Use effective communication skills with good judgment.</li>\n  <li>Participate in the storm process and be available to work extended hours as needed.</li>\n  <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n </ul>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong>Summary of Qualifications--Distribution Associate:</strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Must have high school diploma or GED.</li>\n  <li>Must pass the Company’s SASS test.</li>\n  <li>Must have ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n  <li>Work effectively in a team environment.</li>\n  <li>Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.</li>\n  <li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>\n  <li>Able to handle confidential information.</li>\n  <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n  <li>Minimum 4-7 years related work experience equivalent position.</li>\n </ul>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin-bottom:0px !important;margin-right:0px;margin-top:0px !important;padding:0px\">\n <p><strong>EEI Testing</strong><br><br>\n  We administer selection tests for a variety of positions.
