The Mechanical Engineering Manager provides technical leadership with people management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards while fostering a high-performing engineering team.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers with performance management, coaching, and career development&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee the design, analysis, and validation of mechanical components and systems&nbsp;</li><li>Manage engineering projects from concept through production, to ensure alignment with business objectives&nbsp;</li><li>Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and design processes&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and electrical teams&nbsp;</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, cost reduction, and process efficiency&nbsp;</li><li>Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation</li><li>Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful completion&nbsp;</li><li>Manage resource planning, project prioritization, and workload distribution across the team&nbsp;</li><li>Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for product or production issues</li><li>Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives while providing cost reduction leadership (i.e. interact with manufacturing, vendors, marketing, and engineering teams to reduce costs)&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline</li><li>15+ years of engineering experience, with a strong background in mechanical design and development&nbsp;</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of management or supervisory experience&nbsp;</li><li>Possess first-rate knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks), and Vault&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex engineering projects&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering analysis methods (e.g., FEA, GD&amp;T)&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working within a manufacturing or product development environment</li><li>Possess a good understanding of manufacturing processes with emphasis on process equipment including a working knowledge of piping, structural steel, welding, gears, motors, machinery, and fabricating processes&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of materials, mechanics, fluid &amp; thermal dynamics with experience utilizing FEA and CFD tools&nbsp;</li><li>Familiar with a wide variety of fabrication, machining, and manufacturing methods&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with streamlining engineering processes and implementing product and process improvements&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with GD&amp;T and tolerance analysis&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of ASME code for pressure vessels</li><li>Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems&nbsp;</li><li>Exposure to regulated industries (if applicable)</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement:</strong> Komline is an EEO employer &ndash; M/F/Vets/Disabled</p><p><br></p>\n",
