View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to <strong>CENTERS Benefits </strong>(click link to view).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Provide pre-game assistance for the set up of Intramural sports</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in setting up equipment for the day's/night's activities.</li>\n <li>Assist in the signing-up of Intramural teams and verification of their eligibility</li>\n <li>Assist in examining facility for safety hazards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Provide quality supervision during contests</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>View the Intramural contest and enforce the rules as judiciously as possible.</li>\n <li>Oversee the Intramural contest and ensure participation takes place in a safe manner.</li>\n <li>Understand the specific rules for each sport in the program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Assist in post-game duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in completing any forms that are required.</li>\n <li>Assist in storing any equipment at the conclusion of the day's/night's activities.</li>\n <li>Assist in securing facility at the conclusion of the Intramural activity.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions on-the-spot.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to enforce policies and resolve conflicts.</li>\n <li>Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED use, as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic computer competency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Human Relations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interaction with patrons, faculty, staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment and Physical Demands</h2>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Outdoor environment</li>\n <li>Office environment/fitness center environment</li>\n <li>Moderate to loud noise</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing or walking for at least 50% of the work day</li>\n <li>Occasional bending, stooping</li>\n <li>Eye-hand coordination (keyboard typing)</li>\n <li>Hearing and talking</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties </strong></p>\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
