This role operates with minimal supervision and spans requirements analysis, architecture, coding, testing, validation, and research in support of advanced cyber training systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain a modern, responsive web interface.</li>\n <li>Build backend scoring services, databases, and automated scoring agents for Windows and Linux.</li>\n <li>Conduct system testing within integrated cyber range environments.</li>\n <li>Create and maintain administrative, technical, and end‑user documentation.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the RangeOS development team to ensure seamless integration with versioned cyber ranges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Analysis and Design</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to solution designs that align with requirements and system constraints.</li>\n <li>Estimate effort, complexity, and timelines for assigned tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Coding</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming practices.</li>\n <li>Select optimal algorithms and approaches to solve technical problems.</li>\n <li>Apply sound logic and design principles to feature development.</li>\n <li>Follow established coding conventions and standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Internal</strong>: Document code structures, logic flows, and module behavior.</li>\n <li><strong>Process</strong>: Produce clear technical documentation for developers, engineers, and stakeholders.</li>\n <li><strong>External</strong>: Develop customer‑facing documentation as required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Testing</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform unit testing to validate functionality.</li>\n <li>Support integration and validation testing across complex system environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related field and 3+ years of web development experience, or 6+ years of equivalent professional experience.</li>\n <li>8570 IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months</li>\n <li>Strong full‑stack development background, including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Proficiency in one or more of the following: Node.js, React, jQuery/JavaScript, PostgreSQL or MySQL, AMQP.</li>\n   <li>Expertise with Git‑based source control (Git, Bitbucket).</li>\n   <li>Experience developing system services and daemons.</li>\n   <li>Understanding of Linux virtualization concepts (KVM).</li>\n   <li>Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express, OpenAuth, and Socket.io.</li>\n   <li>Familiarity with AMQP or similar message‑oriented middleware.</li>\n   <li>Working knowledge of networking, Linux, Windows, testing practices, and Agile SDLC.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience with cyber ranges, cyber training platforms, or simulation environments.</li>\n <li>Understanding of orchestrated training events, exercise lifecycle, and multi‑vendor tool integration.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Terraform preferred).</li>\n <li>Ability to operate across complex, multi‑vendor, hybrid environments (RCS/ECS/cloud).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Containerization experience (Docker, image optimization).</li>\n <li>CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).</li>\n <li>Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures.</li>\n <li>Strong REST API design and versioning practices.</li>\n <li>Authentication and authorization implementation.</li>\n <li>Experience with background processing, queues, and event‑driven architectures.</li>\n <li>Ability to design maintainable, modular business logic.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements/Security Clearance</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>DoD Top Secret security clearance (Or the ability to obtain one)</li>\n <li>Up to 10% travel</li>\n</ul>",
