If you share this passion and enjoy collaborating within a multidisciplinary team while supervising support personnel, we invite you to explore this rewarding opportunity.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Full time Acute PT for Legacy Silverton Hospital.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Evaluation and Treatment Implementation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients across all age groups—from neonates to geriatrics—using age- and disability-appropriate assessments to establish baselines and develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional improvement.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assess patient abilities and limitations including neuromuscular movement and stability, sensation, perception, muscle strength, range of motion, body mechanics, vocational and prevocational abilities (adults), and developmental milestones (pediatrics).</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluate patients’ home and work environments and recommend necessary physical barrier modifications or ergonomic adaptations to support safety and function.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Treatment Delivery and Monitoring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Administer therapy consistent with the treatment plan, employing suitable procedures, equipment, and techniques within the scope of physical therapy practice.</p></li>\n <li><p>Recommend, justify, and arrange for the delivery of therapeutic equipment as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Continuously re-evaluate patients, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Make discharge recommendations when appropriate.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate and co-treat with therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.</p></li>\n <li><p>Facilitate the use of orthotic and prosthetic devices to enhance patient mobility and function.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation and Communication</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of patient care, including medical records and correspondence with physicians. Ensure that all information is concise, legible, and relevant to the patient’s plan of care, condition, treatment response, and functional outcomes.</p></li>\n <li><p>Tailor verbal and written communication to the age, educational level, and needs of patients, families, and other stakeholders, ensuring information is delivered clearly and appropriately.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Patient and Family Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide education to patients and families across all age groups to support recovery, self-care, health maintenance, health promotion, and wellness.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervision</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Supervise the patient care activities of aides, assistants, attendants, and volunteers, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>As required by licensure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to render patient services and may supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (LPTAs), Therapy Aides and students.  </li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills to facilitate program development. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates competency, as appropriate to the ages of patients served, in the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; knowledge of normal growth and development; and an understanding of the range of the treatment needed.</li>\n <li>Skilled in-home program development and family training</li>\n <li>Knowledge in appropriate selection and use of DME (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)</li>\n <li>Computer skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Physical Therapist license for applicable state required or Physical Therapist Compact Privilege for applicable state required.  </li>\n <li>BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $48.69 - USD $69.65 /Hr.\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
