This role will have a high level of interaction within both the Underwriting and Actuarial teams in support of pricing large and complex Public Entity risks.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the Underwriting team in scrubbing, organizing, and analyzing account specific loss and exposure data to aid in pricing large individual risks.</li>\n <li>Assist in regular preparation and analysis of proprietary statistical data to inform loss costs, severity distributions, and other pricing considerations.</li>\n <li>Interface with Underwriting and Actuarial departments to ensure data quality standards are met.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development/maintenance/distribution of actuarial reports and databases.</li>\n <li>Provide support in the analysis of various segments of the business for claim trends & profitability.</li>\n <li>Assist the Pricing Actuary with various data requests and pricing analyses.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required</li>\n <li>Excellent capability to organize and analyze various forms of statistical data</li>\n <li>Some actuarial / applicable problem-solving experience preferred</li>\n <li>2-5+ years relevant work experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education Requirement</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Company Details</h2>We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting firms.
