This role will have a high level of interaction within both the Underwriting and Actuarial teams in support of pricing large and complex Public Entity risks. Support the Underwriting team in scrubbing, organizing, and analyzing account specific loss and exposure data to aid in pricing large individual risks. Assist in regular preparation and analysis of proprietary statistical data to inform loss costs, severity distributions, and other pricing considerations. Interface with Underwriting and Actuarial departments to ensure data quality standards are met. Assist in the development/maintenance/distribution of actuarial reports and databases. Provide support in the analysis of various segments of the business for claim trends & profitability. Assist the Pricing Actuary with various data requests and pricing analyses. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required Excellent capability to organize and analyze various forms of statistical data Some actuarial / applicable problem-solving experience preferred 2-5+ years relevant work experience Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience) Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting firms.
