    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join a high-performing Agile team supporting 2–3 web-based applications with extensive user interfaces and web service integrations. These applications serve a large and diverse user base, including both individual users and organizations leveraging API/web service capabilities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory) for web-based applications</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium</li>\n <li>Perform API testing and validate backend integrations</li>\n <li>Contribute to test planning, test case design, and documentation</li>\n <li>Document test execution results thoroughly within Jira and manage assigned tasks through the workflow lifecycle</li>\n <li>Collaborate daily with cross-functional team members on assigned testing tasks</li>\n <li>Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and monthly retrospectives</li>\n <li>Help ensure comprehensive test coverage across all supported applications</li>\n <li>Identify, document, and track defects through resolution</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI with Polygraph</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional testing experience)</li>\n <li>3–5 years of professional software testing experience</li>\n <li>Strong experience with manual testing of web-based applications (functional, regression, exploratory)</li>\n <li>Experience with automated testing using Selenium</li>\n <li>Experience with API testing</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of SQL</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with front-end development or web services</li>\n <li>Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)</li>\n <li>Experience working in AWS environments</li>\n <li>Familiarity with performance testing tools</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $150,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
