    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Come join our team as a Shelter Case Manager! This is a full-time position, from 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday.</span> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Description: Exempt.  Full-time position.  Position is primarily responsible for advocacy, case management and counseling for shelter clients and their dependent children. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cover Crisis Hotline</li>\n<li>Complete intakes and orientation for clients arriving in shelter</li>\n<li>Establish safety plans with clients and review periodically</li>\n<li>Establish goal plans with clients and assist them in obtaining and updating those goals</li>\n<li>Document all interactions with clients, crisis calls, etc.</li>\n<li>Provide limited transportation for both shelter and transitional housing clients.</li>\n<li>Conduct house meetings as needed</li>\n<li>Complete room checks as needed</li>\n<li>Provide advocacy and referrals for clients as needed</li>\n<li>Implement and monitor shelter policies and procedures to assure client safety</li>\n<li>Report all emergencies to supervisor</li>\n<li>Inform Supervisor of Shelter Operations of food supplies and inventory</li>\n<li>Assist with fundraisers</li>\n<li>Office duties such as filing, answering phones, and greeting the public</li>\n<li>Report maintenance problems to supervisor</li>\n<li>Update and keep copies as needed of current forms for shelter</li>\n<li>Update and keep inventory of donations</li>\n<li>Participate in the on call rotation except shift 4-12 is excluded</li>\n<li>Participate in shelter housekeeping, maintenance, office duties, etc.</li>\n<li>Accurately document shift conditions, challenges and anticipated questions in the staff log</li>\n<li>Assist with training new staff</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ol>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<p>Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must be responsible, mature, flexible, capable of handling crisis situations and willing to work with a wide variety of adults and their dependent children. 40 hour domestic violence training and successful completion of a background check required.  Must have excellent verbal and written skills.  Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance coverage preferred.  The Shelter Case Manager must sign a confidentiality form indicating that the privacy of HOPE clients, staff and volunteers will be maintained. </p>\n<p><br></p>",
