This is a unique role that combines a number of unique functions. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial processes and analytics to drive informed decision-making throughout the business. This position will support all aspects of the Treasury activities, including cash management, banking relationships and managing the cash forecasting process as well as be a key contributor to business related analytics, royalty accounting and sales tax reporting. This position will also lead specific projects from the planning stage through implementation to enhance the finance department&rsquo;s functionality.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The position is located in our headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid option and will report to the Assistant Controller.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>#FranklinFamily</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Cash Management and banking analysis and administration</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research and communicate reconciliation variances discovered during financial close process</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in monthly and annual closing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Calculate and book monthly general journal entries as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Commissions reporting and general journal entries</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Fixed assets and maintenance of subledger</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Royalty accounting&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluate new banking products and services to facilitate change within the organization</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop, coordinate, input and manage the weekly cash forecasting process&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide various ad-hoc analysis as requested by the management team</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working capital analysis; develop new and enhance existing reporting to improve key metrics, such as overdue outstanding and Days Sales Outstanding; etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and participate in assigned finance projects&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate necessary training for successful project completion</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for Sales Tax reporting&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other projects as assigned</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHO YOU ARE:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">ERP System knowledge</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of experience in treasury/cash management or banking field</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Royalty Accounting experience desired</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">General accounting experience preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sales Tax Reporting strongly desired&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WHAT YOU HAVE DONE/ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLE:</strong></p><div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), as well as general ledger and reporting tools</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong project lead skills and process improvement experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to manage multiple priorities and juggle between daily, weekly, monthly demands</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to work independently</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work well under pressure and able to work cross functionally with all levels in the organization</li></ul></div></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><br>LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interact independently with internal and external parties, has the knowledge to make independent decisions.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position does not supervise employees.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
