    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\">Designer/drafter is responsible for design and development of plans for the construction or modification of commercial, residential, agricultural, or industrial buildings. In addition, the drafter/designer is responsible for designing, planning, and drafting specifications for alterations and repair of existing structures or new building construction projects.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to efficiently produce architectural and structural plans with details</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Obtain state approvals</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Obtain necessary permits</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Obtain and review approval drawings,</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assist Project Manager with onsite questions</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Attend job handoff with project manager and salesperson</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Attend approval meetings</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to field measure a project</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications/Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">For consideration, the preferred candidate needs:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Minimum 2 Year Associate Degree in construction related field, and/or 5 years of similar experience with general knowledge of commercial construction</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Minimum 3 years’ experience with REVIT, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of current codes including IBC 2015, Energy Codes, and Wisconsin UDC.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to converse in verbal and written communications</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to manage workloads that require deadlines</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Alliance Construction &amp; Design is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
