          "text": "<p>The Housekeeping Houseperson plays a critical role in supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in guest and public areas, managing linen and trash logistics, and ensuring that housekeeping closets and supplies are well-organized. This position assists housekeepers with room preparation, handles the delivery and removal of items such as cribs and highchairs, and contributes to the overall guest experience by keeping the property clean, safe, and welcoming. The Houseperson is expected to respond to guest requests professionally, uphold safety standards, and represent Westgate Resorts with a high level of integrity and service.</p><p><strong>As a Houseperson, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist housekeepers with stripping units of soiled linen and trash.</li><li>Support cleaning of guest units, including pet cleans and deep cleans.</li><li>Clean walkways, stairways, corridors, elevators, guest laundry rooms, and front entrances.</li><li>Deliver linen bags/buckets to checkout unit doors and pick up soiled linens for processing.</li><li>Rotate laundry bins and maintain the cleanliness of laundry chute closets.</li><li>Remove and place cribs, highchairs, and other equipment in designated pickup areas.</li><li>Collect and dispose of trash from guest units, public areas, and outdoor enclosures.</li><li>Maintain housekeeping, storage, and linen closets neat, clean, and stocked.</li><li>Deliver and organize linens in building closets.</li><li>Ensure empty buckets and supplies are placed in designated areas.</li><li>Use all equipment and supplies properly and safely.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Secure and return all issued keys and maintain orderly carts and equipment.</li><li>Report damaged items, lost &amp; found, and safety concerns promptly.</li><li>Respond to guest and owner requests professionally and promptly.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Assist with training new team members and support other departments as needed.</li><li>Represent Westgate Resorts with professionalism and promote company values.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
