    "description": "<p><strong>Lexus</strong><strong>&nbsp;of Tacoma</strong>, a dealership part of the O&rsquo;Brien Auto Group, is currently hiring for <strong>Car Washers</strong>&nbsp;who will be directly responsible for the timely and quality cleaning of customer, loaner, company, and inventory vehicles as they are presented to the wash bay.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>This position pays $18.00 per hour.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>All employees subject to eligibility&nbsp;requirements, we offer the following benefits:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Paid holidays pursuant to the annual holiday calendar (typically five holidays)</li>\r\n\t<li>Vacation &ndash; based on hire date and paid based on position.</li>\r\n\t<li>Medical/Dental/Vision/RX</li>\r\n\t<li>Ancillary Benefits such as Short/Long Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, Spousal/Child coverages</li>\r\n\t<li>401(k) plus company match</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities can include:&nbsp;</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Vacuuming front and rear passenger areas, including under mats&nbsp;<em>(cargo area on company, loaner, and inventory cars only)</em>.</li>\r\n\t<li>Cleaning inside of front windows&nbsp;<em>(inside of all windows on company, loaner, and inventory cars)</em>.</li>\r\n\t<li>Wiping down, dusting dash and console areas.</li>\r\n\t<li>Proper rinsing down and sudsing of vehicle with proper care taken in using a clean wash bucket and mitt for paint and separate wash bucket and mitt for lower cladding, wheel wells, tail pipes, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Shammy of vehicle with clean shammy on paint and separate cloth on bumpers, door jams, tail pipes, wheel wells, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Proper care that all wash mitts, rags, cloths, and shammys are kept clean and free of grit and that all items that may scratch car&nbsp;<em>(i.e. belt buckles, snaps, rivets, etc.)</em>&nbsp;are not worn where they could damage the car.</li>\r\n\t<li>Rotate through the car wash stations as directed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Do not get behind the wheel of any vehicle unless you are an authorized driver per upper management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Clean and maintain car was supplies and tools.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain overall cleanliness and order of wash bay drive and area.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Regular attendance is essential.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;Pressure washers, steam cleaning equipment, water hoses, buckets, sponges, polishers, cloth rags, hand-held squeeze bottles, and mechanics hand tools.&nbsp; Rubber gloves worn as required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Chemicals:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a frequent basis.&nbsp; Employee will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances.&nbsp; Employee will follow all safety directives at all times.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; lifting of 50lbs or less on an occasional basis and carrying of 25bs or less on a frequent basis; frequent pushing and pulling, twisting and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects; occasional climbing, balancing and crawling.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Candidates for this position must possess a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
